After 8 years with the Elite team, Karen strongly believes her longevity is thanks to the team she works with. In her own words ‘We are working in a high stress, very busy environment. If we don’t support each other and provide assistance wherever it is needed, it opens the potential for mistakes to happen, which nobody wants. You’ve got to know that your team working towards the one common goal, to ensure our clients are receiving the premium care that we promise them’.

Shannon Rae

Senior Property Manager

After 3 years working in Residential Sales, Shannon was seeking a role that enabled to her to maintain a closer, more ongoing professional relationship with her clients.

When a colleague suggested she try her hand at Property Management, she quickly realised it was a perfect match to her personality and jumped right in.

Some might say Property Management is a little bit like juggling, you are constantly focusing on the ‘balls’, trying to make sure you catch each one before it’s thrown back into the air! However, Shannon believes that for any Property Manager to succeed it simply comes down to good time management, organisation and the ability to multi-task. With a previous career in hospitality, these are 3 skill areas she knows a thing or two about! A strong believer in being both efficient and effective with her time, she ensures her duties are carefully prioritised each day, whilst making allowances for ‘troubleshooting’ the every-day hurdles that inevitably appear each day in Property Management.

After hearing some of the ELITE Team discussing how much they enjoyed working here, she decided that ELITE was where she wanted to be. Shannon’s focus for the Property Management team is strengthening her portfolio in the Northern Beaches area. In order to do this successfully, she ensures both her industry and market knowledge is unmatched and she endeavours to think ‘outside the square’ to maintain her edge.
